WHAT DOES MY EXIT LOOK LIKE?
I’d always envisioned selling my business and retiring at age 65. I’ve done a good job building the business, my retirement accounts and outside real estate but I’m not sure I want to retire now. I don’t think I’m going to run out of money and I know I’ve outgrown some of my advisors.
The choice to retire is both a financial and lifestyle decision. To properly plan for retirement, Michael wanted to have a clearer sense of what retirement meant for him, where he stood financially and his long-term financial projections. Clients, like Michael, who are considering retirement turn to RWA to help project their retirement income and implement a realistic strategy that enables them to retire with greater dignity.
SEP IRA, Solo 401k, Roth IRA. Small business owner like Michelle face a number of retirement options. They have full control over their businesses and turn to RWA to gain greater control over their retirement plans. We develop highly personalized retirement plans that maximize returns while considering each client’s goals, risk tolerances, financial circumstances, and contribution limits. Busy business owners appreciate our responsiveness, interactive quarterly reviews and technology that keeps them in touch with their accounts, 24/7.
I BEAT THE ODDS.
I started my business in a male-dominated industry 20 years ago. It wasn’t easy. Even my parents and closest friends said I was taking on too big of a challenge, but I was determined and I persevered. I hired dedicated employees. We built long term relationships with our customers and vendors and moved the business forward with hard work and quality service. I didn’t go over, under or around the wall – I went right through it. Now I have the capital to do what I want to do. I’m approaching retirement, but feel uncertain about what retirement looks like for my family and for me.
WHAT DOES RETIREMENT LOOK LIKE FOR US?
We’d always envisioned retiring together, but want to redefine what retirement means for us. Traditional retirement usually means slowing down in your 60s, with both the husband and wife fully retired, turning on their pensions and starting to receive social security. They typically supplement that income with their savings. For most people, that isn’t what retirement looks like today. We want to retire on our own terms, but don’t want to make a mistake.
John and Susan understand the work, business and lifestyle choices they make today will directly impact their future taxes, pension and social security payouts, savings and long-term financial stability. They turn to RWA to avoid the pitfalls, limit their liabilities, ensure steady growth, preserve their wealth and make their dream of retiring on their terms a reality.
RWA helps clients, like Sarah, gain control of their finances and navigate life transitions with confidence. We take a compassionate, unhurried and non-judgmental approach to explain the options, answer all questions and develop strategies that maximize returns, work within risk tolerances and build solid financial foundations.
HOW DO I TAKE CONTROL OF MY FINANCIAL FUTURE?
After 30 years of marriage, I’m single and lost. My partner was in charge of the finances, so now the responsibility has been left in my hands. I am overwhelmed and unsure of my financial stability, so I want my own advisors that can get me started and help me avoid mistakes.
PLANNING FOR A BETTER EXIT.
I’ve been running my business for the last 15 years and investing in the marketing through my retirement plans. I’ve done well over the past 7 years, but I really don’t have time to pay attention to it since I’m running my business. I’m concerned about the market, especially political and market risk. I don’t have as much time to spend on my portfolio as I do on my business. I need help. I need a partner I can trust.
Developing an optimum exit strategy can be complex for business-critical owners like Joseph. He needs a strategy that ensures business continuity and his retirement. When navigating a business valuation, merger, IPO, sale, or liquidation, small business owners and C-level executives leverage the power of RWA’s straight-forward advice, business acumen, connections and strategy to maximize their return and create a smooth transition.
